BOCA RATON, FL, USA, January 14, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — The 3rd Annual Boca Raton Eco-Trail Trekker and the Expo event returns in person to Embassy Suites by Hilton Sunday January 23. Founded by Paul Collins, the Boca Raton Eco Trail Trekker Challenges is a community sporting event, promoting health, wellness, leadership, team spirit, commitment to excellence and raising funds for charities and good causes. The Expo will feature local vendors, refreshments, a live DJ and joint fitness classes. The 5K and 10K challenges and the 2K family walk will also be held during which participants will raise funds for their favorite charity. Registration is done in teams of 4 or individually.
Seniors are supported with their own Senior Olympics – Challenges sponsored by Florida Blue, Includes six providers hosting a one-minute fitness challenge. Seniors who compete in the 5k, 10k or walk could win the overall Olympic trophy. Trophies awarded to ladies and men according to age groups.

Exhibition open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
5K & 10K Challenges 8:00 a.m.
2K Family Fun Walk 9:00am
Registration in the hotel lobby opens at 7:30 a.m.

WHERE: Embassy Suites by Hilton in Boca Raton; 661 NW 53rd Street

WHO: Walkers and runners are welcome, but participation in the walk and/or challenges is not required for Expo entry.

DETAILS: Ticket price provides access to the entire exhibit including: the Cannabis Education Forum, speakers in the theater and participation in one of the activities including dog show, Zumba , fitness classes and more. There will be food tastings including healthy food choices with over 60 vendors promoting products and services from the sports, health and wellness sectors. The 5K and 10K challenges feature teams and individual participants early in the morning starting at 8:00 a.m. and in conjunction with the Sports, Health and Wellness Expo. Teams of 4 start together, stay together and finish together. The route for the Challenges and Fun Walk will begin on the El Rio Trail adjacent to the Embassy Suites Hotel. The organizers donate 50% of all participants’ entry fees to charity or a good cause chosen by the participants.
