The Boch Center, one of the nation’s leading nonprofit performing arts institutions, today announced the appointment of Jamia Gaffney as Director of Event Marketing. Ms. Gaffney has an accomplished marketing background, with over 10 years experience in the arts and media industries. As a member of the marketing team, Jamia will be responsible for overseeing marketing and promotional duties for events taking place at Boch Center venues. Jamia started her new role on June 7, 2021.

Previously, Ms. Gaffney was Director of Marketing for Blue Man Group in Boston, MA. She achieved a long list of accomplishments during her eight years with the organization. Some of these include developing the annual Blue Man Group Drum Off, building and launching two VIP programs, and designing a mobile ticketing program. Jamia is no stranger to the Boston media landscape. Prior to working for Blue Man Group, she held leadership positions in several organizations including Norbella, LivingSocial and WHDH.
