Body is the largest and most important contemporary multi-arts center of its kind in Australia. They currently have the option of a full-time position Manager, Major Events based in their sydney space. The role of the Manager, Major Events is to work closely with the Director, Events and Production in the effective planning, development and management of all events within the Carriageworks grounds, with a particular focus on major events. (Major events are generally considered to be those that are intended for the public and take place at multiple Carriageworks sites over multiple days and involve a number of internal and external stakeholders). The Manager, Major Events will ensure event delivery meets stakeholder and customer expectations of the highest quality and continues to build Carriageworks’ exceptional reputation for delivering high quality experiences. This is a key role within the organization, responsible for working closely with external partners and within the Carriageworks team to lead the delivery of a range of public events and programs complex and high level. To be successful in this role, you will have higher qualifications in a relevant discipline or more than 5 years of experience in delivering events, preferably in the cultural/arts/festival industries.
