How to watch the Gamers for Giving charity event: broadcast, schedule and how to donate

Global gaming charity Gamers Outreach is hosting its annual two-day “Gamers for Giving” fundraiser on Twitch with a massive goal of raising $1,000,000. Here’s everything we know about the event, including how you can help.

Founded in 2008, Players to give started out as a massive in-person competitive gaming tournament and streaming marathon. Due to global health concerns from 2020, the event was completely virtual.

The event is organized to raise funds for Player awarenessa global video game charity that helps hospitalized children through gaming. To do this, they send their personalized “GO Karts” to hospitals across the country equipped with an Xbox, PS5 or Nintendo Switch.

Raising player awareness as well provides hospital volunteers to help children learn about technology, “Save Points” to provide children with items to take home after treatment, among others. The charity has provided nearly 1,300 go-karts to hospitals in all 50 states.

Here’s everything we know about the event – from the days it’s taking place to how you can help raise funds yourself.

Gamers For Giving how to donate

If you are interested in helping provide entertainment for hospitalized children, you have two different options.

  1. Go to the Gamers For Giving website directly and click the Donate button on the homepage.
  2. Donate to a campaign from a specific creator. Streamers often have incentives to help raise funds, with having to eat “beanboozled” raw jellybeans as a popular choice.

Whichever option you choose, the donation will go through Tiltify – a website focused on integrating charity campaigns with Twitch streams.
