Man found injured in Nottingham after stabbing attack
Officers were arrested after reports that a man had been attacked with knives.
The man was found with injuries to his face and back as a result of the incident, which occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021.
He continues to receive medical treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or damaging.
Police who witnessed the incident in Manston Mews, Radford, quickly searched the area after being called and arrested a 22-year-old man suspected of causing grievous bodily harm.
They also picked up a quantity of suspected Class A drugs nearby and further arrested him on suspicion of possessing a Class A substance.
Detective Constable Ben Grayson of Nottinghamshire Police said: ‘The swift action by officers meant that a man was taken into custody and could be questioned.
“Our investigations are ongoing and we are working hard to understand the circumstances of the incident. However, we would like to reassure people that those suspected of being involved know each other and that this is an isolated incident.
“We ask anyone who has witnessed the incident or has information to contact 101, citing incident 1008 of October 8, 2021.”
