PROSPECT RIDGE RESOURCES ANNOUNCES YAN DUCHARME TO JOIN THE TEAM AS THE COMPANY’S NEW PRESIDENT AND TO BEGIN FIELD OPERATIONS IN 2022

VANCOUVER, BC, June 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – June 62022 – Prospect Ridge Resources Corp. (the “Company” Where “Prospect Ridge“) (CSE: PRR) (OTC: PRRSF) (FRA: OED) is pleased to announce the appointment of Yan Ducharme as the new president of the company, Nicholas Luksha as the new Executive Vice President, and the start of 2022 field operations with scouting teams picking up where they left off at the end of the 2021 field season.

Yan Ducharme brings over 25 years of experience to the company in new and contaminated site exploration projects. He began his career at SEMAFO in Guinea, West Africa, on the Jean-Gobele exploration project which later became the Kiniero mine. In Quebeche joined Cambior at the Sleeping Giant mine, then at the exploration office where he handled exploration projects in the four corners of Abitibi and in the James Bay Region. Mr. Ducharme was also part of the exploration team at the Rosebel mine in Suriname, South America for Cambior/Iamgold. Yan spent several years working on NioGold’s Marban project which reached 1.5M oz of measured and indicated resources (32Mt at 1.48 g/t Au) and 600k oz of inferred resources (16.5 Mt at 1.13 g/t Au; NI 43-101 August 15, 2013). He was vice president of the company when it was purchased by Oban Mining, which now operates as Osisko (TSE: OSK). He was Regional Exploration Manager for Canadian Malartic until the Kirkland Lake was acquired entirely by Agnico-Eagle (TSE:AEM), then became director of exploration for SOQUEM. Most recently, Mr. Ducharme was Exploration Manager for the Kiena site of Wesdome Gold Mine (TSE:WDO). Mr. Ducharme obtained a master’s degree in Earth sciences from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

The Society is delighted to be back in the field. Prospecting crews mobilized and began collecting more channel, chip and grapple rock samples from the Holy Grail and Knauss Creek properties. Crews began by targeting known high-grade gold, silver and other metal zones to help prepare for drilling which is expected to begin during the summer. Crews will then mobilize to other areas of the extensive properties to sample and designate future drill targets. With the aid of a Lidar survey, the extensive logging road system and helicopters, we will continue as last year with a very aggressive program to find more high grade gold occurrences to generate targets of drilling. Mr. Ducharme’s leadership will prove invaluable to the prospecting teams and to the drilling program once it begins.

Mr. Luksha will continue to oversee and manage a range of the companies’ corporate responsibilities from his new role as Executive Vice President. It is with great enthusiasm and anticipation that he hands over the presidential reins to Mr. Ducharme.

Michael Iversonsays the CEO, “Having Yan Ducharme coming in as president and leading operations on the ground will be a great asset to our team and our shareholders. My many years of working with Yan in the past give me great confidence that he will accelerate our future results by proving our resources. He’s a home run hitter and this will be his next grand slam as we kick off field operations. Welcome to the Yan team.”

About Holy Grail & Knauss Creek

The Holy Grail and Knauss properties begin approximately 10 kilometers north of the town of Terrace in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. They are easily accessible by two highways and a network of forest roads. They are contiguous and form a horseshoe covering approximately 730 square kilometers.

The southern tip of the Golden Triangle comes just to the northwest of the properties. The Bower Lake and Hazelton groups which host most of the deposits and mines in this area also underlie the Holy Grail and Knauss Creek properties.

A few occurrences of gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc have been found in the past. The most notable is the Dorreen mine where three levels have been developed and it is estimated that around 700 tonnes of ore have been mined at an average grade of over 10 g/t Au.

The properties hold more than 10 very interesting gold showings, sometimes with silver, copper, lead and zinc.
