United Way Clallam County is pulling out all the stops for its 2022 Live United Awards, with a “prom” theme.
The Live United PROM and Awards Ceremony will be held Friday, May 6 from 6-9 p.m. at Club 7 at 7 Cedars Resort, 270756 US Highway 101.
This annual fundraiser, organizers say, offers a chance to relive the ball while celebrating the county’s most influential citizens.
The event includes a catered dinner, refreshments, prom photos, music from a live DJ and more, including the nomination of a prom king and queen.
United Way Clallam County is also celebrating the end of the organization’s campaign year and will honor community members and businesses who have gone out of their way to make a difference with Live United Awards.
The cost is $80 or $150 per couple. Get tickets at unitedwayclallam.org/prom.
“We aim to have a real and lasting impact in Clallam County every day,” said Jaycie Wakefield, director of development at United Way of Clallam County.
“We do this by fundraising throughout the year to help fund our partner nonprofit organizations who work hard and make a difference for people in need. When you support United Way, you support programs that help keep families healthy and safe, children in school, and the most vulnerable get the services they need.

Centraide is also looking for local businesses interested in sponsoring the event. All donations are tax-deductible and come with marketing benefits, United Way representatives said.
