Riot Games Partners with ORDER as Event Organizer for OCE TFT

On Monday, Australian esports organization ORDER announcement that they have partnered with Riot Games to be the official organizer of the OCE TFT esports event until mid-2023. This means that the OCE TFT umbrella will belong to ORDER until the end of the eighth TFT expansion. Currently, TFT is on its sixth and expansions are rolling out every six months.

“We are thrilled to extend the highly successful partnership between ORDER and Riot Games that began with the first-ever Ignition Series of the Oceanic VALORANT Open,” said Josh Swift, Events Manager at ORDER, in the announcement.

ORDER handles TFT events in the OCE region since set four, TFT: Fates. Before ORDER entered the mix, the OCE region was combined with the North American region. Since taking over and OCE operating as a separate region, TFT OCE Fates Champion “Razza” and TFT OCE Reckoning Champion “Escha” have managed to make it all the way to the World Championship Finals TFT.

“[Were] signing on to manage TFT esports in Oceania until the end of Set 8 in 2023,” Swift said. “After the Galaxies Championship, ORDER worked hard to improve the competitive scene in Oceania. And, through Fates and Reckoning, we continued to work hard to provide the best possible experience for competitors.

ORDER is currently in the middle of the competitive TFT: Gizmos & Gadgets season in the OCE region.

“Over the past two sets, we’ve seen an incredible response from the Oceanic TFT community around competitions hosted by ORDER as part of our global ecosystem,” said Derek Dennis, NA & OCE Competitive TFT Lead at Riot Games. “We are delighted to continue our partnership with ORDER until at least set 8 and we look forward to seeing a competitor from Oceania win the world championship in the near future.”

Their OCE TFT Circuit for TFT Set 6 will culminate with the TFT OCE Gizmos & Gadgets Regional Finals on the first weekend of April. This event will decide which player will represent OCE at the TFT Gizmos & Gadgets World Championship later this year.
