“The vision for this 24-hour experience required a creative and technical partner with great thought and a big heart. While the VIVA Creative team provides live and digital events and content for brands such as Norwegian Cruise Line, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, American Express and Weight Watchers, this 24-hour global streaming event brought to leverage their expertise and talents to new heights.

“Streaming events are an intimate medium, but viewers don’t always think about what it takes to get that content onto their devices. From creative storytelling to technical production, from audio-visual engineering to integration of social media, the VIVA team has been working around the clock for five weeks to do this – working 100% remotely in quarantine,” says Joe TalbottPresident, Global Content & Creative, VIVA Creative.

Using remote work tools such as Zoom and Box, VIVA enhanced collaboration to create engaging stories, capture video content, create social media videos and graphics, and design and build a strong technical production implementation team to amplify the objectives of this event.

VIVA Creative works hand in hand with Jon Kleinformer president of CNN, and Roni Selig, former CNN executive producer. “Think of the amount of content for a 24-hour show. VIVA brought in a whole team of storytellers, including dozens of segment producers, directors, editors, and motion graphics artists. I’m at repeatedly amazed by the camaraderie, professionalism and raw talent they bring to this expanded team,” says Emmy Award-winning Selig.

Simultaneously, VIVA Creative’s tech teams developed new ways to deliver this program globally, on any device, while working, building, and testing from quarantine.

“There is magic happening for those of us who create and integrate the technologies that fuel human connection. Using technology for good is immensely rewarding. We are helping those affected by COVID-19 through Impact Partners GiveDirectly and Points of Light, while promoting the global power of community, unity and action,” says Dusty HeinzmanExecutive Producer, VIVA Creative.

“That’s where purpose and passion come in,” says Emily Greene, co-founder and creative director, VIVA Creative. “It takes a certain type of team to do this work, and everyone working on THE CALL TO UNITE will be connected for life by our commitment to bringing hope and healing in this time and #answeringthecall.”

VIVA Creative continues to #answer the call in its own industry by helping brands connect with their audiences during the pandemic by moving canceled live events to a new online format and hosting informative and uplifting summits that teach organizers of events how to adapt to new digital technologies.

“For these reasons, The Call to Unite is a metaphorical call to be a beacon through these challenges,” says VIVA Creative CEO, Lorne Greene. “We thank Tim and the entire UNITE team for this opportunity – and would like to thank our extended team of world-class partners who helped make this unprecedented experience possible:
