‘We’ve got it all’: Best Damn MusicFest organizer thinks star-studded event will be a hit

“It’s really a relief to finally get here,”

It’s Kyle Sampson, organizer of the Best Damn Music Fest, as the two-day country music event takes over the Prince George Fairgrounds.

sampson said MyPGNow.com they have a star-studded lineup on stage tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday).

“We have everything. We have a great stage, great production and phenomenal lineup – the best country music starts in Canada, from Brett Kissel to Dean Brody, the Washboard Union, Hunter Brothers and Corb Lund. It doesn’t get any bigger than any of those names.

Regional artists like Aaron Pritchett, Rick Stavely, Kym Gouchie and the Northern Lights and the band Chris Goodwin will also perform.

The event was originally scheduled for last September but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Sampson, like many others, is thrilled the event has come close to the finish line.

“To finally get here, oh my God, I think we’re all doing a happy dance despite being sleep deprived for the past few days.”

While it may be Sampson’s name on the event with his production company, the Prince George Councilman is quick to credit the sheer number of people working behind the scenes to make this music festival possible. .

“I mean, it’s really a huge team effort that goes into this event and I want to thank everyone who has been involved with Best Damn Music Fest from the beginning.”

Over 15 food vendors will also be on hand during the event.
